Families of Wishbone

Wishbone's culture is extremely storied, shaped by generation upon generation of cultural tradition and ritual, and bristling with positivity, hope, and a shared sense of family. "Families" are the main holders of both societal and cultural power, having existed as long as Wishbone has existed. Families are by nature, just that: large groups of tightly knit, interconnected folks, and serve as a living library for cultural and religious tradition within Wishbone. The Four Families can be joined by anybody that meets their requirements, you need not share blood or even species with other members! There is a great amount of emphasis on both community and family within Wishbone, inviting individuals and their relatives over to your house is commonplace, as are the myriad of different rituals performed while hosting or greeting. Likewise, public and social gatherings take place often, coming of age is celebrated as a "Family" event, and funerals are commonly open attendance, welcoming everybody who had any connection to the deceased.
