Diet: Fish, insects
The Coral Spiderfish is an underwater spider, and is incapable of living on land. They commonly live among lake coral, and weave waterproof webs among it in hopes of catching prey, usually small fish or insects. Instead of biting its prey, it stabs them with the points on its arms, which exude a fast-acting paralyzing venom. Coral Spiderfish are timid, and will flee if approached by anything larger than they are. If cornered, they will lash out with their arms, but will not use venom.
