Without Flyghts, much of Deep Mountain would be in total darkness. Flyghts spend most of their time flying across the canopy in order to absorb filtered sunlight and warmth. This is a constant process, and is responsible for powering their segmented lights. Flyghts become dim if exposed to total darkness, and will hibernate in frigid temperatures.
